Training & Development
PLN offers a wide range of Training & Development courses adapted to meet the needs of individuals. Courses range from general awareness — ie Mental Health Awareness — through to more in-depth courses such as:
- Training to work with parents Accredited by Open College Network. This course has been written in line with The National Occupational Standards to ensure professionals working with families have access to quality training with a recognised certificate. The course may used a route towards the City & Guilds 730 teaching certificate. Interviews for this course are being held from 15th May 07 – phone to book yours
- My Mum & Dad Argue a lot — This popular workshop is back due to demand.Training workshop with optional training resources to use when working through issues of adult/adult conflict and the impact it has on children. The workshops are experimental and fun!

- Starting June 07 — A workshop aimed at professionals who suffer traumatic and acute stressful situations at work. This workshop will help you identify the route cause, the impact and strategies to manage the impact of an incident or accumulation of stressors that impact on your ability to manage you work/home life effectively. Aimed at for example — Teachers, Police Officers, Social Workers, Professionals involved in the lives of people displaying severe emotional and behavioural distress.
